Each door is fortified with a 7-coat painting, enhancing the iron’s resilience against rust and corrosion. This advanced treatment not only ensures long-lasting performance but also significantly reduces maintenance requirements.

All of Artisan iron doors are crafted from 12-gauge solid iron bars for exceptional durability and insulated with high-density foam to enhance thermal performance. To further protect against rust and corrosion, we apply a 7-layer painting process, significantly improving their resilience against various weather conditions.

For extreme climates, you may also opt for an insulated door upgrade to better withstand intense cold or heat. However, please note that condensation (such as ''sweating'' on the door) may occur due to significant temperature differences between indoor and outdoor environments. This is a natural phenomenon rather than a product defect. After all, some challenges caused by nature are beyond our complete control.

The size of Artisan pre-hung doors is referred to as the frame size, which includes the total height and width of the frame, including the jambs.

1. Width: Measured from the outer edge of the left door jamb to the outer edge of the right door jamb.

2. Height: Measured from the bottom of the threshold to the top edge of the header jamb.

If you are providing dimensions that do not include the door jamb (door frame), please make sure to specify this clearly during the customization process.

All of Artisan iron doors come pre-hung, with measurements that include both the door frame and threshold. For exterior doors, we generally advise that the width be 1.5'' less and the height 1'' shorter than the rough opening. For interior doors, we recommend the width be 1'' smaller and the height 0.5'' shorter than the rough opening.

We specialize in crafting custom doors tailored to your specific rough opening dimensions. If you can’t find a suitable size on our website, just contact us with your specific requirements and door details, and we'll offer you a personalized quote and CAD design.

All of Artisan standard iron doors are equipped with high-density foam insulation, providing basic energy efficiency. If you live in an area that experiences extreme heat or harsh winters, you can upgrade to our insulated doors, which include argon gas and Low-E coating for enhanced insulation and improved energy efficiency.

Currently, we do not offer installation services. However, all of our pre-hung iron doors are designed for easy installation, and you can easily find a local contractor or builder to assist with the installation.

Artisan quote includes shipping and tax fees. However, please note that the quote does not cover unloading services. Any costs associated with unloading will be your responsibility.

Our lead time is 14-16 weeks. This time frame allows us to ensure the highest quality for each hand-forged product. As the saying goes, "Good things take time." Patience leads to perfection, and we believe ARTISAN's doors will be well worth the wait, truly transforming your home.

Our artisans craft each product with meticulous attention to detail. Before shipping, we ensure that our products are free from any defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship. However, due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in design and finish may occur, these are not considered defects. To protect both parties' interests, please refer to our Warranty Terms for more details.

During the design phase, you may cancel your order after discussion and confirmation, though a 3% transaction fee will apply. However, once the drawing is approved and production begins, cancellations will no longer be accepted. If cancellation is necessary, we will assess the order’s production status:

1. If your order is near completion, 50% of the order amount will be charged.

2. Once your order has shipped, cancellation is not possible. If there are any issues with the received product, you will need to follow our return process.

We use wooden crates and metal frames to ensure our doors are well-protected during transit. However, we cannot fully prevent rough handling during shipping. If you receive a package with visible damage, you can still accept delivery and note the damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD) to help us file a claim with the shipping company. When opening the package, please record an unboxing video in case there are any issues with the door.

Artisan lead time is 14-16 weeks. To ensure your order is transported safely, we may require some waiting time to secure a reliable truck for delivery. Once the tracking number is available, we will notify you. When the item arrives at your local terminal, the trucker will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please make sure you have the necessary arrangements for unloading, as any failed delivery due to your reasons may result in additional redelivery and storage fees. We will stay in touch throughout this process. If you need any assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Please note that we do not provide unloading services, and any unloading costs will be your responsibility. We offer curbside delivery only, if you require delivery to a specific location (such as a warehouse), you will need to coordinate this directly with the trucker when scheduling the delivery.Given the weight and size of our products, we strongly recommend arranging at least 4-5 able-bodied individuals to assist with unloading. Additionally, having a forklift on-site will help ensure a safe and smooth unloading process.

Artisan do not provide forklift services, but you can contact a local forklift service company to assist with unloading. Alternatively, you can inquire with the trucking company when they contact you about delivery to see if they offer this service.
