The size of ARTISAN pre-hung doors is referred to as the frame size, which includes the total height and width of the frame, including the jambs.

2. Height: Measured from the bottom of the threshold to the top edge of the header jamb.

All of ARTISAN iron doors come pre-hung, with measurements that include both the door frame and threshold. For exterior doors, we generally advise that the width be 1.5'' less and the height 1'' shorter than the rough opening. For interior doors, we recommend the width be 1'' smaller and the height 0.5'' shorter than the rough opening.

Once the drawings are confirmed, any changes (such as glass or color) will incur additional costs and will depend on the production stage.

ARTISAN lead time is 14-16 weeks. This time frame allows us to ensure the highest quality for each hand-forged product. As the saying goes, "Good things take time." Patience leads to perfection, and please believe ARTISAN's doors will be well worth the wait, truly transforming your home.

Our artisans craft each product with meticulous attention to detail. Before shipping, we ensure that our products are free from any defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship. However, due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in design and finish may occur, these are not considered defects. To protect both parties' interests, please refer to our Warranty Terms for more details.

During the design phase, you may cancel your order after discussion and confirmation, though a 3% transaction fee will apply. However, once the drawing is approved and production begins, cancellations will no longer be accepted. If cancellation is necessary, we will assess the order’s production status:

1. If your order is near completion, 50% of the order amount will be charged.

2. Once your order has shipped, cancellation is not possible. If there are any issues with the received product, you will need to follow our return process.

ARTISAN iron doors are individually packed in wooden crates and secured on custom pallets to ensure stability during shipping and help prevent damage caused by transportation handling.

ARTISAN uses wooden crates and metal frames to ensure our doors are well-protected during transit. However, we cannot fully prevent rough handling during shipping. If you receive a package with visible damage, you can still accept delivery and note the damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD) to help us file a claim with the shipping company. When opening the package, please record an unboxing video in case there are any issues with the door.

ARTISAN lead time is 14-16 weeks. To ensure your order is transported safely, we may require some waiting time to secure a reliable truck for delivery. Once the tracking number is available, we will notify you. When the item arrives at your local terminal, the trucker will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please make sure you have the necessary arrangements for unloading, as any failed delivery due to your reasons may result in additional redelivery and storage fees. ARTISAN team will stay in touch throughout this process. If you need any assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Please note that we do not provide unloading services, and any unloading costs will be your responsibility. ARTISAN offers curbside delivery only, if you require delivery to a specific location (such as a warehouse), you will need to coordinate this directly with the trucker when scheduling the delivery. Given the weight and size of our products, we strongly recommend arranging at least 4-5 able-bodied individuals to assist with unloading. Additionally, having a forklift on-site will help ensure a safe and smooth unloading process.

ARTISAN do not provide forklift services, but you can contact a local forklift service company to assist with unloading. Alternatively, you can inquire with the trucking company when they contact you about delivery to see if they offer this service.

Yes, self-pickup is available from our California warehouse. Please contact us in advance to arrange a pickup time and ensure your order is properly prepared for collection.

After delivery, we recommend carefully opening the package to inspect the door for any visible issues and ensure everything is in good condition. Once checked, the door should be stored in a dry, shaded, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperature changes. This will help maintain the finish and structural integrity of the door until installation.
