Shipping & Delivery
Artisan Entry Doors is dedicated to providing a smooth and reliable delivery experience, ensuring your doors are handled with care. Explore our FAQ below for more details!
1. How long does it take to receive my order?
Our custom doors are typically manufactured and delivered within 14-16 weeks once the drawing is confirmed. Please note that we currently do not offer expedited services.
Lead Time | Standard Shipping | Expedited Shipping |
Custom Doors | 14-16 Weeks | Unavailable |
In-Stock Doors | 2-4 Weeks | Unavailable |
Each of our doors is handcrafted to order, requiring time and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality. While we understand the excitement of receiving your new door, expediting the process would compromise the craftsmanship and durability you expect. We assure you, the final product will be worth the wait.
2. How much will I need to pay for shipping?
a. Continental U.S.: Free Shipping and Curbside Delivery (unloading personnel and forklift service are NOT included). We cover customs duties and taxes for you.
b. Canada: Standard shipping is available, and the price includes tax. However, additional shipping charges, as well as customs duties and taxes, may apply in certain regions.
3. How can I track my order?
Once your door has been dispatched, we will send you a tracking number along with instructions for monitoring the delivery status. Please allow some time for the tracking system to update as it moves through transit.
4. Can I change the delivery address during transit?
Once the product is completed, we will confirm the delivery address. Any address changes after dispatch has begun will incur an additional fee.
5. What is the delivery method, and what should I prepare for delivery?
All deliveries are curbside only. It is the customer's responsibility to arrange for the door to be transported from the curb to the desired location. We strongly recommend arranging 3-4 able-bodied individuals to assist with unloading and moving the door. In cases where the package is particularly heavy, renting a forklift may also be necessary to facilitate the process.
6. What should I do when the door is delivered to my curbside?
Upon delivery, carefully inspect the freight before signing the proof of delivery (POD). If you notice any damage, make sure to clearly note it on the POD. Additionally, inform us within 3-5 business days of receipt. If the package is signed without any damage noted and we do not receive a report within this timeframe, we will assume that the goods arrived in good condition.
Notice:
All iron doors are shipped using national domestic LTL carriers. Customers are solely responsible for any additional fees, such as storage or re-delivery costs, resulting from the inability to receive delivery at the scheduled time. Once the goods leave our warehouse, we promptly arrange for a truck and provide a traceable tracking number, which will be sent to you. The shipping company may contact you to schedule the delivery, or you can reach out to them directly. Please ensure that the contact number provided at the time of order is accurate and accessible, and monitor the logistics updates.
After shipment approval, if you are unable to accept delivery for any reason, you will be responsible for any storage fees imposed by the shipping company. These fees must be paid before delivery can be rescheduled.
Deliveries are curbside only, and the driver will not deliver up a driveway or into a garage. Customers must arrange for 4-5 able-bodied persons to offload the door and transport it to the desired location. Due to safety regulations, lift gates cannot be used for oversized items that exceed the length of the lift gate. In some cases, you may need to rent a forklift to assist with unloading if the package is too heavy or oversized.
For locations with restricted access, such as narrow, unfinished, or hilly streets, where the truck cannot safely enter, customers must arrange to pick up the product from the carrier’s terminal.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the shipment upon delivery. Any visible damage or missing items must be noted on the freight company’s paperwork before signing. If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, you must file a claim with the freight company and notify us immediately with supporting evidence, such as photos.
