The door is too small, in both width and height to meet code. You would think, as a door manufacturer, that the customer would be notified if dimensions do not meet code. The approval design sheets require you to add and subtract dimensions in order to determine the door size, as appose to the sheet just indicating the door size. We made an assumption that the door itself would at least be 36 inches wide × 78 inches tall (36x80 is standard). It was not.
I understand proof drawings were sent, and we approved. Based on that alone, we've chosen to just throw the door away.
The keypad opener did not have screws to attach it to the door so we had to go fabricate and buy some longer screws to attach
The rubberized glazing that bonds or fills the two pieces of metal together around the parameter of the door jam was scattered, and Skip jumped in between every single joint… In other words, it was not taped off and smoothly applied, so we’re having to re-tape and smoothly trial in the black silicone in between the two pieces of metal
The door slab as it fits inside the door jam has a quarter inch gap on the hinge side all the way up to 5/8 towards the top and has no option to square up the jam with the door slab
Just so you know, there is proper reveal on the top bottom and strike side of the door. It’s just the hinge side of the door that’s out of whack in relation to the jamb
We ordered our pivot door in June and were updated throughout the entire process and was delivered in September by Estes delivery service. It arrived perfectly packaged in a large solid wooden crate with no damage. Our family and friends love it! Thank you for our beautiful orange red pivot door! It makes our house so grand!
MOST GORGEOUS DOOR! Incredible quality. Worth the wait. Cannot wait to see it installed. It is going to upscale the entire house. The packaging for transport was above and beyond. The delivery service had clearly hit the door transit enclosure and put a forklift through part of it and the door was so carefully enclosed that there was no contact made with the door itself. Top quality work from start to finish. Excellent team. Quick communication. Very professional and helpful. Excellent experience. Will order again for our next large project. Will recommend to friends.
You guys suck I still don’t have a door
Thank goodness we ordered this and our truck driver was amazing. This was so simple.
very pleased with the whole process and the quality of the door and pivot hinge- love the soft close on the pivot!
Thank you
The door is amazing and is absolutely stunning! Was delivered as expected and installation was very smooth.
An amazing door. A beautiful, well constructed lifetime door. I am so glad I ordered this door.
Bait and switch. Said “free shipping” but if you want the door actually taken off the truck, they wanted $800. This is after they sucked an extra 500 for changing the way the door swung only a few days after the order, claiming it was already being built
Everything went fantastic! The door was built solid and the package with a solid crate was amazing! Not everyone ships things that well. Plus the door went right in with no issues, so fantastic job!
Unfortunately, I’m unable to review the door itself because I still have not received it after multiple shipping and routing errors.
At this point, the experience has been extremely frustrating. Our custom door was originally delivered to the wrong customer in Arizona, rerouted across multiple states, and we were recently informed that the wrong door was sent to our local terminal again.
We have had to cancel scheduled installation, forklift rental arrangements, and personal plans due to the continued shipping issues and lack of clear communication throughout this process.
I’m hopeful the actual product will be beautiful once it finally arrives, but the delivery and customer service experience has been beyond disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable ordering from your company again or recommending it to others.
Absolutely breathtaking door! From all of the questions prior to ordering, straight through the delivery process, the staff was incredibly helpful and informative, including pictures along the way! The door is officially delivered and installed and a showstopper! Thank you so much to the team at Artisan!
Absolutely stunning! This door is an absolute showstopper—it's the kind of feature that turns heads and seals deals. I can't wait to list this home for sale; I truly believe this door alone will have buyers falling in love and making offers on the spot. As a first-time customer, I'm hooked—this won't be my last order by a long shot. I receive countless deliveries from various companies, but none compare to how impeccably this door was packaged; it arrived in pristine condition, far surpassing the competition. And the installation? Effortless and straightforward, saving time and hassle.
I’m an installation contractor and I was very impressed with these doors. They are extremely well built. The cost is a fraction of other manufacturers and these are much more refined and precise in my opinion.
Our door is amazing, super satisfied with the craftsmanship and delivery was smooth.
Thank you. Everyone who sees it thinks it is fabulous. I didn't realize the glass opened when I ordered it. That is an amazing, beautiful, and comfortable feature!
Just wanted to send a little thank you for the beautiful job you did on our door. We love it so much!! The installed the deadbolt with no problems. I am also attaching some photos.😜
I just wanted to confirm the doors arrived today and they are absolutely beautiful! No damage at all. They will be installed sometime next week at which time I will send you a picture but I will also send a picture when the house is done so you can really appreciate them.
Thank you to the craftsman who worked on them. Truly an art. So happy I ordered them.
It’s it exactly as I designed it to be. It’s is a very well made door couldn’t ask for a nicer unit.
